SIFMA is pleased to announce that it will hold a seminar on Municipal Bankruptcy Protection & Bond Restructurings on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at SIFMA’s Conference Center at 120 Broadway, New York, NY. The seminar will run from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM and will be followed by a buffet lunch.
This seminar is intended to complement the day-to-day analysis that investors conduct in managing their municipal bond portfolios. Industry analysts and legal experts will: (i) give the audience a view of our industry from the perspective of those who follow market trends; (ii) help participants manage their way through the thicket of laws that govern Chapter 9 municipal bankruptcy protection; and (iii) outline important considerations for bond investors who are facing a restructuring of the municipal debt in their portfolio.
