Welcome
SIFMA’s eTechnology Conference & Exhibit: Trading/Risk Strategies & Systems will be held Tuesday, September 16 in New York City.
Building on our previous eTechnology conferences that focused on just fixed income trading/risk strategies and systems, we have expanded this year’s conference to now cover equities trading/risk strategies and systems as well. Important topics to be explored for both the fixed income and equities markets include:
Trading platform advances related to execution, risk monitoring, valuation, collateral management and operational risks.
Best execution, transparency – new challenges driving continued improvements to platforms and venues in these areas.
Technology convergence for options, derivatives, futures, commodities, FX and equities?
- Algorithmic trading, smart order routers, crossing engines, dark pools – technology becoming too sophisticated? Or, is it keeping up with the demand and global challenges?
- Implications of technology on global convergence in the markets for risk management and operations integration.
Why You Should Attend
eTechnology 2008 is designed by industry insiders who focus on the above issues in their day-to-day responsibilities, and thus are in the forefront of developing the latest in trading/risk strategies and systems to meet those challenges. The one-day program will enable participants to learn from these individuals about the latest trends in electronic trading and risk assessment. Don't miss this year's top event for the eTechnology community.
